Jay Bruce is the Opposite of Corey Patterson

Did he actually touch the ground, or did he just glide from base to base?

  1. I was at the game.... but I can't confirm whether his feet actually touched the ground or not.

  2. That is one of my favorite sites Justin. Cole Hamels is likely my favorite pitcher in baseball not currently on the Reds. I have heard some good Jay Bruce ones though:

Jay Bruce doesn't slump, he just chooses to even the playing field.

Jay Bruce was forced to turn down his scholarship to Tulane University because using an aluminum bat would require sanctions for a WMD.

The only reason Jay Bruce strikes out is so pitchers will donate money to Barry Zito's Strikeouts for Troops charity.

Those are some of the ones I have enjoyed over the past few months.

  4. @doug, lol! The WMD one is classic.

My favorite Cole Hamels one is still "When Cole Hamels passes "Go", he collects $400."

@Chris, Patterson can't get on base, Bruce can't make an out! -j
